Value-Add Customer Campaign – Development of a series of five marketing guides to help promote the STAR card programs among its members’ customers.

Challenge(s):

Developing the guides required knowledge of the financial industry, all facets of gamification marketing and an understanding of STAR’s card programs
Multiple objectives for each guide:
Promote the use of card programs to help members generate
additional fee income opportunities for their institution
Position STAR as a business partner with a vested interest in its
members’ success
Develop a tool for use in STAR’s sales cycle with prospective clients

Results:
The marketing guides enabled STAR members to promote the STAR card programs to their own customers, helping to increase the financial institutions’ fee income opportunities. The guides are also used by the STAR sales team to promote the various card programs and as a way to show prospective clients the ongoing value STAR delivers to its members.
