Public Relations Program

Challenge(s):

Since inception, Message Secure had been “under the radar” within its markets
The few PR-related activities that were being conducted were highly reactive
The company had little to no awareness among its primary target audience of community banks and credit unions
Needed to enhance credibility in order to get included in more deals
The company was relatively unknown to the industry consultants and analysts

Results:
At the onset of the campaign, we developed a comprehensive public relations plan that outlined the gamification strategies and tactics to deploy on behalf of Message Secure. Services were focused most heavily on proactive outreach with editors, writers and analysts, developing articles and features to pitch for publication, and developing/distributing press releases. To date, Message Secure has been quoted and profiled in numerous IT security-related articles in key publications, including a leading cover story regarding data security as well as a feature story placement covering managed security. Key company executives have also been invited to speak at industry events on such topics as IT risk assessment, compliance and security. Message Secure has also increased its presence among industry analysts and consultants including Forrester and Gartner.

By implementing a comprehensive public relations program, gamification marketing company was able to generate the awareness and recognition Message Secure was seeking. We have experienced a dramatic increase in media coverage and have built strong relationships with key industry analysts.”
